It’s that time of the year where pop culture becomes reality and the worlds of Movies, Games, T.V. and Comics all unite under one roof – San Diego Comic Con. For the next five days, geeks will passionately descend at Comic-Con as major production houses reveal what’s in store for the foreseeable future and leave them salivating until that moment arrives. Below is a few of the announcements directly from San Diego Comic-Con 2015.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
The cast of the movie Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Willow Shields, director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobsen took the stage at the San Diego Convention Center’s Hall H, in front of thousands of excited fans. A new trailer was revealed exclusively for those present, soon to be released online for the masses. In the meantime, a promo (below) was also released for those unable to attend.
The final film of the franchise has Katniss, Peeta and Gale joining forces and revolting against President Snow and the Capitol.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2 arrives in theaters Nov. 20 2015.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were unable to attend Comic-Con, but along with Andrew Scott they did have an amusing apology prepared for the fans.
The panel was attended by Rupert Graves (who plays Lestrade), showrunner Steven Moffat & producer Sue Vertue. They presented a short clip (below) of the Sherlock Special out Christmas time this year. The special is a standalone story and not related to the series of the modern era. Ever since the chilling return of Moriarty at the end of Sherlock Season 3, fans have been waiting impatiently for its return.
No release date has been announced for Season 4, although it might happen in 2017.

Peter Capaldi, along with co-stars Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald), Michelle Gomez (Missy) and showrunner Steven Moffat debuted the trailer for Season 9.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III
Treyarch and Activision, the developers of the Call of Duty series have released the trailer for ‘Zombies Mode’ at Comic-Con.
“Treyarch has crafted a totally unique and face-melting gameplay experience for our loyal Zombies community, with Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Zombies – Shadows of Evil,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head, Treyarch. “The development team has packed Shadows of Evil with more gameplay and fun than any other experience before it, and has an appropriately twisted and deep narrative, performed by fantastic acting talent, that will keep our fans spinning.”
Call of Duty also announced a campaign through charity fundraising platform Omaze, that will give fans the chance to be immortalised as a Zombie.The proceeds raised goes to the The Call of Duty Endowment, which works to get veterans back to work after completing their service.
Fans can enter by donating $10 USD or more to the Call of Duty Endowment via Omaze. Larger donations will give fans more chances of winning along with some bonuses. The winner will finally be flown to LA, all expenses paid, and re-imagined as a zombie at Treyarch Studio for an appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC. He or she will also have lunch with Treyarch Studio head Mark Lamia and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the studio of the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on November 6th, 2015.
